### What we like

A combo of Wolfram + Emacs to provide a canvas for exploring APIs, manipulating data, taking notes, and programming. Feels like Jupyter Notebooks with modules and code snippets, but with many more options. Everything is stored on the filesystem.

### Tradeoffs

Daunting to get started, even with the detailed handbook. Should everything be in a single system vs better, individual tools for the job?
