### What we like

Compile Markdown to HTML or JS and process it through a plugin-based pipeline. Hook into multiple stages of the compilation process. Uses syntax highlighting with Shiki as an example plugin. Supports various features like frontmatter, math, smart punctuation, GitHub formatting for tables, footnotes, etc.

### Tradeoffs

No support for Svelte SVX.
