What we like

Drop-in web UI for managing and observing Kafka clusters, topics, connectors, consumer offsets, etc. Easily edit & reprocess messages. Graphing and alerting on topics & partitions. Cluster managers can set up self-service for developers with different environments. Proxy gateway enables ACLs, RBAC, auditing, encryption, masking, load balancing.

Tradeoffs

You need to manage the console and gateway deployments by running the Conduktor container somewhere - no easy managed service.
