What we like
Wraps around Nix to provide declarative developer environments. Automatically activates environments when entering the directory. Manages scripts, Git hooks, running services, containers. Supports tests & process management. Environments per directory can be imported into a main environment in monorepos.
Tradeoffs
Doesn’t support building containers on macOS - must connect to a remote Linux builder.
