Console’s review

· Reviewed by David Mytton

What we like

Quickly edit files from the terminal. Mouse support with all menu options having keybindings (which mirror VS Code). Ctrl+P switcher to move between multiple files. Regex find & replace. Executable is less than 250kB. Written in Rust. Almost zero dependencies.

Tradeoffs

Saw some complaints about how the codebase reimplements almost everything from scratch rather than using dependencies. This is a feature! Not everything should be reinvented (cryptography), but having minimal dependencies is a great design decision.
