What we like
Creates & manages virtual environments and installs packages into them. Makes it easy to manage devtools, libraries, runtimes without conflicts. Handles dependency management for any installed packages. Easy to share environments with other people. Environments can be defined declaratively in a config file.
What we don't like
Uses Nix behind the scenes which is both great (declarative language for package management), but also quite complex to understand if you want to build your own packages.
