Console’s review

· Reviewed by David Mytton

What we like

Various options for creating a standardized Go project. Helps create test and release workflows. Options for selecting HTTP servers and database scaffolding. Includes Docker config with compose for local dev and a Dockerfile for building. Includes htmx to embed the web server as well as APIs. Everything is optional and configurable.

Tradeoffs

You can only select one database during setup - it’s common to use multiple e.g. Postgres + Redis. Deliberately doesn’t include an ORM, so you’ll need to pick your own.
