What we like

Can be installed through various options e.g. Ruby Gem, Node.js, Go, Homebrew, RPM, Apt, or manually. Simple Yaml config for managing commands to run for each hook. Configs can be overridden with local options. Also supports remote configs. Commands can run in parallel.

Tradeoffs

If you run commands in parallel you need to deal with locking & concurrency issues e.g. overwriting files.
