What we like

Distinguishes from ls by providing a plugin system to extend file listings e.g. duplicate file detection, file hash display, showing git metadata. Out of the box support for different view modes e.g. tree, recursive listing, and sorting based on file size & modification date. Colorized output. File-base configuration.

Tradeoffs

Only available to install as a Rust cargo package.
