What we like

Sits on top of existing libraries e.g. pino to provide log levels. Can handle Error objects. Supports multiple transports e.g. Console, Datadog, AWS Lambda Powertools. Attach structured metadata. Child loggers inherit configuration for predefined context. Express & Fastify middleware.

Tradeoffs

Providing multiple parameters to the log API depends on the logging library you use - better to use the log with metadata functions.
