What we like

Bring code linting to your filesystem - easily enforce file and directory name and structure rules. Use a single or multiple config files. File extension based rules. Works cross platform and available via various package managers. Minimal dependencies. Useful rules out of the box.

Tradeoffs

Be careful with the ignore rules for node_modules, otherwise parsing can be very slow (see GitHub Issue #246).
