What we like
Insert into any pipe to provide a visual progress bar. Shows data transfer rate, time taken, percentage complete, and completion ETA. Supports multiple pipes to show progress between them all. Can optionally limit data transfer rate. Supports all major Unix-like OSs. Open source.
What we don't like
Latest release is Sep 2021, but it seems stable so that’s probably not an issue. Some reports of unreliability if backgrounded.
