What we like

Ports CPython to Wasm so it can run in the browser. Any pip package that has a wheel is supported. Includes a JS FFI so you can work directly with the browser (Pyodide already gets access to web APIs).

Tradeoffs

Wasm/browser environment is single threaded so multi-threading or multi-processing isn’t supported. Also has relatively low memory limits due to Wasm limitations.
