What we like

Framework built on Solid v1 for high performance, lightweight web applications. Built on Vite 8 with Rolldown, which brings modern tooling and deployment targets like Netlify, Cloudflare, and general Nitro web servers. Build-in support for auth & sessions, middleware, websockets, data mutation.

Tradeoffs

Confusing documentation across Solid, Router, SolidStart, with varying versions v1 and v2.
