What we like
Logic is colocated inside the database so clients connect directly to it - eliminates the web server component. Also eliminates the supporting infra, so you just deploy a single binary (if you use their cloud service). Entire app state held in memory with a commit log for persistence. Clients can replicate a subset of a database using SQL.
Tradeoffs
Server only supports Rust or C#, but there is a JS SDK client. Still requires Nginx as a reverse proxy running on a VM.
