What we like
Create HTML components rendered in Go with all the power of loops, conditionals, etc. Server-side rendering so the browser only receives HTML. Go is fast. Doesn’t require JS, but can easily be combined with something like htmx for interactivity. Includes injection attack mitigation by default. Use the IDE integration to get proper highlighting, formatting, etc.
Tradeoffs
Unsure whether it’s a good thing to be embedding HTML inside Go. It requires a generate step which codegens the Go that actually renders the HTML.
