What we like

Mounts Tigris object storage buckets as a local filesystem. Includes optimizations for small files. POSIX-compatible so you get permissions, symlinks, etc. Smart caching and prefetching of directories and metadata to improve performance.

Tradeoffs

Some operations will be slow if uncached - remember that object storage is not block storage.
