What we like

Composable stream processing from multiple inputs, transformations, and sinks. Supports a large number of integrations from AWS SNS to SQL and Clickhouse. Handles batching and guarantees at-least-once delivery. YAML or Go config. Runs inside your Go application so it has no other moving parts, but can run independently and in AWS Lambda.

Tradeoffs

Mixes logic into YAML if you don’t want to write it all in Go. Shouldn’t YAML just be for config? Built-in Bloblang helps, but it still lacks many of the benefits of a real language e.g. editor support.
