What we like

API, SDK, and CLI for creating sandboxed test environments inside your own infrastructure (or locally). Create parameterized templates with dependencies and fine-grained customizations to test changes to one or many services. Spin up environments from integration tests and CI. Supports resource creation e.g. databases or message queues.

Tradeoffs

Requires Kubernetes. Limited number of resource plugins - MariaDB, Amazon SQS, and RabbitMQ - you need to create your own for anything else.
