What we like

SVG charts by default. Work directly with the points and marks so you can get low level, but still support labels, focus, tooltips, responsiveness. Compiles strict TypeScript. Completely customizable. D3-compatible. Lightweight (32kB) relative to other charting libraries.

Tradeoffs

Specific “grammar of graphics” approach which delegates layout and rendering to the runtime. This results in superior charts, but is a particular approach you need to adopt.
