What we like

Drop in replacement for Redis - works with all Redis clients (it was forked from the previously open source Redis repo). Implements a range of performance improvements since then. It’s now availability zone aware to keep traffic local for latency/cost. Replicas can redirect read/write commands to primary. Open source.

Tradeoffs

Documentation needs a lot of work.
